I’m Orsolya Varró, and this is a site dedicated to my academic CV and the one (1) blog post that I published on my Wix website in 2020 (probably followed by more in the future). I’m a PhD candidate in medieval history at Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. My main area of interest is the early medieval political and social history of present-day France, and I’m currently writing my dissertation on the inner dynamics of 11th-century Provençal society, focusing on the network of the abbey of Saint-Victor (Marseille).
